I started playing hockey when I was 7 years old trying to be like my older sister. Since then I've grown to become a fierce hockey player. I played for my primary school first team for 2 years. It was also in gr7 when I played North West provincial team for the first time, I've played NW every year since. After primary school I moved on to play A team at my High school and captain my team. My best year was 2019 0/16 where I captained the NW team as well. In 2019 I was chosen to be part of the 0/16 Elsie Coetser Hockey school team that travelled to The Netherlands where I also captained.
This year I was chosen as part of the 0/18 North West A team and I am captain of my school's First team. I have also received my Level 0 Outdoor Hockey umpires certificate. I have also attended beginner coaching courses under Jarryd Hammond. I consider myself as an all around player but I specialize in defense.
I believe that my talent it my gift from God and what I do with my talent is my gift back to God. I feel this is something that everybody must hear and embrace.
Currently:
I am currently still in school I am gr11 now. Hockey is my main activity everything else is based around it. Some of my hobbies include playing trumpet and crochet.

I look up to Erin Christie, I feel that i can relate to her closely.
Career Highlight:
A highlight for me was definitely the chance to experience field hockey in an other country and learning how they see the sport. To see how much they love and live the sport was very inspiring. As well as being blessed to have captained a team at IPT.
