About: 

Started playing in 2016. I feared the hockey when I went to the my school's u16 trials. "GK's are well protected", I thought. "GK's have it easy!" and man, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I put that kit on and played until the last whistle. In 2017, I made it into the u18B Mpumalanga Boys team, and in 2018, we played at the IPT. I also played in the PSi Nationals for the Mpumalanga Mambas (u18A) in Cape Town. High school hockey ended 2018 with a friendly game between Matrics and the rest of school (known as Matrieks vs Res) where the we drew one all and headed to penalty shoot-outs. We won the shoot-out 4-1 with a denied penalty stroke! Fast forward to the present, I debuted at a league game for UCT Men's 3rd side in 2019 (only one cap) and this year, I got selected for the team.

Currently:

I am studying at the University of Cape Town. Besides playing hockey, I am either watching hockey videos, training, writing some music or acting in a play. (And of course... FOOD!)
